The ports of Île de Ré are among those places where you can truly slow down during your vacation.

You can stroll along the waterfront, stop for a coffee on a terrace, watch the boats return to port, or see sailboats gently swaying with the tides.

From Rivedoux to Ars-en-Ré, each port has its own unique atmosphere and charm, nestled between maritime heritage, typical villages, and landscapes facing the ocean.

From our hotel on Île de Ré, you can easily access them!

The Port of Rivedoux

The port of Rivedoux-Plage is often the first glimpse of Île de Ré when arriving via the bridge.

Built in the 19th century to develop trade and navigation, it still retains a peaceful, ocean-facing atmosphere.

This pretty port offers a superb view of the Île de Ré bridge and the Pertuis Breton strait.

A few pleasure boats complete this maritime scene, perfect for leisurely strolls at the end of the day.

The Port of La Flotte

Located in the heart of the village, the port of La Flotte—the liveliest on Ré—will charm you with its vibrant and friendly atmosphere.

Restaurants, terraces, a market, and small shops line the quays where boaters, visitors, and locals mingle.

The port also welcomes numerous sailboats thanks to its pontoons and shared moorings.

You can admire magnificent classic sailing vessels, some of which are listed as historical monuments. In summer, concerts, shows, and fireworks enliven the evenings on the port.

The Port of Saint-Martin-de-Ré

Protected by the famous Vauban ramparts, the port of Saint-Martin-de-Ré is one of the island's iconic landmarks.

Very lively during the summer season, it remains pleasant year-round thanks to its many shops, bars, and restaurants located around the harbor.

The boats moored in the harbor contribute to the elegant and typically Ré charm of the village.

Ars-en-Ré Harbor

In the north of the island, the harbor of Ars-en-Ré reveals a more authentic and nature-oriented atmosphere.

A former merchant port dedicated primarily to the wine and salt trade, it has become the main marina on Île de Ré.

Sailing enthusiasts will find numerous moorings for their boats here today.

A walk along the Fier d’Ars offers the chance to discover magnificent landscapes between salt marshes, the ocean, and a sky that changes with the tides.
