We had a delightful stay at this beautiful hotel. We particularly enjoyed the gardens, the quality of the food, and the kindness and professionalism of the staff. It was perfect in every way. Thank you again to everyone!
The staff were very friendly, and the room and grounds were very clean. The peace and quiet, the pool, the restaurant, the proximity to the beach—everything was perfect. We had a very pleasant week.

A particularly disappointing stay at this hotel on Île de Ré, which falls far short of its 4-star promises. While the setting remains pleasant, the services offered by the establishment are woefully inadequate and do not live up to the advertised standard.
The problems piled up throughout our stay:
- The Thalassotherapy Center: A very poor quality massage, absolutely not relaxing and light years away from what one expects from a high-end spa. (No great techniques/light stroking makes the massage seem a bit pricey/professionals putting on their scrubs in front of us/body parts neglected, and so on.)
- The Services: Bicycles rented directly through the hotel were in mediocre condition and kept coming off the chain during our outing.
- The Room: A faulty toilet that malfunctioned throughout our entire stay.
But the most disappointing aspect remains the management's handling of our dissatisfaction with the quality of the "massage." Rather than acknowledging these shortcomings and offering some compensation, management retreated behind a condescending response, implying that the problem stemmed from our "lack of experience" with massages and the fact that we hadn't interrupted the treatment.
An unjustified price/quality ratio, poorly maintained equipment, and customer service that prefers to blame its customers rather than take responsibility for its mistakes. I do not recommend this establishment for a "wellness stay."
However, the breakfast was delicious, and the hotel reception staff were attentive.
